Here's my entry for the Alien World contest, held by CGMA.

Halo: Spartan Assault

 

Here are some works I did during 2013 at Vanguard Games in Amsterdam, for the mobile version of Halo.
The guys at Vanguard did an awesome job, in my opinion it's a threshold for mobile gaming, with a triple A approach, both artistically and technically.
It was a great experience and I've learned a lot!

It's been about 2 years living abroad..Must admit that sometimes I really miss Italy.
Painting this was nostalgic but fun and relaxing, and on top of all, learned a lot from it.
I need to thank some buddies who gave me good advise :)

ZBrush

The last weekend I attended a workshop with Neville Page and Ben Mauro, organized by FZD.. They showed us how powerful and amazing zbrush is for executing designs and designing in general, taking care of all views of the object and having a base for cool paintovers.
I (and I bet many others) wanted to give it a try, and surprisingly you just need a bunch of commands and brushes, quite fast to grasp.

This is my first attempt, some kind of alien mech.
I learned a lot doing it! (design is a bit funky tho)
